Though I am NOT a feminist. I am a woman and can definitely relate to this video. While I too primp, wear pink, shave my legs, get my eyebrows and nails done, and wear clothes that accent my womanly physique there is more to me than that physique alone. Raising a woman child in this media mess is horrific. It is my duty to instill in her enough confidence, enough grace, and enough love for her self and others despite what she looks like, and what others look like. I WILL teach my child to break the mold. I will teach her to live outside the box. I will teach her to shine and hopefully she can teach the next person by example that woman IS beauty. That LOVE is beauty. There is so much going on in society today that makes me as a mother afraid for what my children will have to go through. IF I can instill enough love in my children for them to be comfortable in their own skin I will have succeeded.
